This project represents an innovative approach to the adaptive re-use of an existing industrial building. The original office building of the sprawling former West Bend Company occupied a prime riverfront location.

As part of the design solution, we removed the top floor of the existing three-story 1950’s building and converted the remaining concrete structure to enclosed parking. A green roof reduces stormwater runoff and provides an attractive gathering space for residents.

To create 30 luxury apartments, a new outer skin was added to the existing structure. This design scheme brought each condominium unit closer to the water and created more value to the overall project.
