Congregation Sinai Temple

TKWA was hired to provide architectural and interior design services to expand and update this suburban Milwaukee worship facility.
Originally built in the early 1960’s, this modernist structure features exposed stone and wood glue-lam timbers. The challenge was to design a contemporary addition that meets current and future programmatic needs while remaining architecturally compatible with the existing structure.
The new addition features multi-use chapel space, a multi-purpose room, new classrooms, a large multi-use library, expanded administrative offices, an expanded and renovated entry foyer, updated mechanical systems, and improved sancturary space.
