This new aquatic center was developed as part of a larger campus master plan for the Goodman Jewish Community Campus developed by Schreiber Anderson Associates, Inc.

The beauty of this building lies in the simplicity of its physical appearance and the thoughtful way it has been integrated into its rural landscape. Located on a 150-acre summer camp, this new seasonal swimming facility was sited to minimize its visual impact and to celebrate the rolling countryside surrounding it.

While typical pool facilities are enclosed by tall chain link fences that cut off the outside world, the pool was raised above the security fence sight line to create a powerful sense of open space and connection to the larger environment.
