The Kubala Washatko Architects, Inc. (TKWA) executed an Historic Condition Assessment of the 1901 county courthouse building. This assessment determined the condition of both the interior and exterior of the structure. The final document included an executive summary; history, description, and utilization of the building; building analysis (code, structure, handicapped accessibility, roof, tower masonry, windows and doors, interior plan changes, walls, casework and trim, floors, ceilings, lighting, and furniture); Historic Finishes Study (with pathologies and exposure windows); MEP system evaluation; opinions of cost; and Appendices (drawings, endnotes, information databases, and bibliography).

This document has acted as a guide for the County for prioritizing restoration efforts and fundraising.
