Uke's Harley Davidson
Kenosha, WI
To take advantage of this dealership’s location along a busy interstate highway, The Kubala Washatko Architects, Inc. designed a prominent 65 foot tall motorcycle tower that acts as a beacon for travelers. A large steel grid backdrop acts as a billboard. Beneath the tower is highlighted motorcycle parking.
Inside the showroom wood and steel combine to add warmth and intimate detail to the environment. Wood display walls repeat elements of the large exterior steel billboard. Polished terrazzo floors evoke the look of the “road”. Wood and copper counters add warmth and eye-catching detail. A mezzanine museum is wrapped by a steel mesh railing with steel and hex head bolt accents. Through the customer lounge, an exterior balcony overlooks a natural setting of marsh grasses.
